Quiche with mushrooms and blue cheese
Quiche with mushroom filling and a variation of cheese.
Ingredients:
- 200g / 7oz / 1,6 cup all-purpose flour
- 100g / 3,5oz / 0,5cup butter
- 50ml / 1,7(fl.oz) / 0,2cup cold water
- 150g / 5,2oz / 0,7cup blue cheese
- 150g / 5,2oz / 0,7cup cheese
- 200g / 7oz / 0,8cup mushrooms
- 2 eggs
- 100 ml / 3,5(fl.oz) / 0,4 cup milk
- Butter for mushroom and greasing the mold
- Salt and pepper
Recipe steps:
- Sift flour and salt.
- Cut the butter into cubes and make the dough together with the flour and water.
- Wrap with food foil and put in the fridge for 30 minutes to stiffen the dough.
- Roll out the dough on a floured area and put it into mold.
- Cut off the excess dough.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 200 °C /390 °F preheated oven - then remove the mould from the oven.
- Grate the cheese and spread on the pre-baked dough.
- Cut the mushrooms into slices and stir-fry them in butter and place them on the Quiche.
- In the milk with salt and pepper, whisk the eggs and pour on the Quiche.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C /355 °F until golden.
